School?

In this thread you can talk about your school, and how school life is for you in terms of assignments, teachers, and tests. I know many of you have started school as for me I can't really tell you since I don't have school till mid September.

Well,I'm still not over the whole "The Great Gatsby" situation. *Shudders*
Today,I had my first pop Common Core quiz.

Common Core is a math skill.

That requires you to write down what you're thinking.

But they don't want to know what you're thinking.

They wanna know what you're subconsiously doing.

So,that wasn't fun.

Why am I talking in a suspisious manner?

I can say I survived my first week well. (good and bad)

School...........
I have nothing else to say except the fact that I'm very, very, VERY mad I don't have any classes with my best friend. It's unfair. Other than that, nothing much different from last year. Hours of homework and I'm surrounded by heartless nerds.......But I'm not a heartless nerd. I'm fabulous.

*clears throat* well yeah School gets busier every year and even in college you believe you are okay with an hour of homework and two hours of one class in each subject or less. Things start to change classes start to pick up the pace in teaching certain materials as well as the work load.

I am glad you Anli have survived your first week and hopefully it gets better for you.

At Hazel it seems like you are reading the great Gatsby now but you will eventually read it in highschool as well. ^^"

All in all this school year starts well for some and bad for others but depending on how the year and your efforts match up the year of school can end well or moderate. I hope mine ends well from the whole year since I have a lot to catch up on. :3

My first week was okay with a few new things diffrent than last year. Now I have a reading and a writing class instead of normal ELA, and sadly a shortened amount of minutes to get to class. But I know this year will be fun since all of my friends are mostly in my classes.

that's nice. (it's now been two weeks) the work is starting to be a drag, but I'll survive.

Now I am excited that school is like right around the corner for me! XD I can't wait for wednesday!!

Yeah, when people tell you college is expensive.... They are not lying. Even with financial aid it helps but in the long run you need to work to save up. I just can't wait for school to be out of the house.

It is.. well honestly it depends on the class/subject, since the midterms are similar to the finals and tests(even though they are both tests..-_-) the only difference, is the percentage they are in the grade but it is terrible when the class is hard. (Anatomy was a hard midterm.. I have to take part 2 and three soon. T^T..)

I have to take easier classes but because of the major I am in.. I just finished the easy classes, and I have to start all the hard classes. ^^"

wow! I'm afraid of this week. I heard near where I live there's gonna be a perfect storm. It might happen on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday! And That's really bad for a person who has tech-week for a play and have halloween off, meaning that if it did happen, we'd have one full dress rehearsal practice for a show that's on friday and saturday.!!! ugh!!! And if it starts at school, that'd be a problem!!!
