It is in this world that the gods are in a constant struggle for power, trying to learn the ways of the humans and bend them to their wills, or upon occasion, befriend them. PLOT:
The children are sent to live out their lives on the planet of mortals, in hopes of bringing about more companionship with those below. However, among these Gods and Goddesses, who sent their demigod kin to roam among mankind... an odd shadow looms. As the humans become more trusting, one of the children go missing... as does the parent. And then, another. But who could kidnap gods? Simple. Another god. But whom? No one knows...

General Information
Name: Nocta
Title: Goddess of Shadows
Pantheon: Greek

Appearance: Either clad in shadows, or in dancers garb.

Personality: A very dark and mysterious soul who speaks very little. She is usually quite melancholy, and spends most of her time enshrouded in shadows that swirl about her lithe form reverently as though caressing her skin. She is very close with her twin brother as they have spent most of their lives together, ready to sacrifice anything to protect them. Due to the event of Hades' attack on her, she has become addicted to the gods version of addictive alcohol called Ambrosia.
Weapons/Equipment: Shadows, Bell anklets, Blade-tipped whip
Powers: Control over all shadows and the density/shape/size of them.
History: Nocta was born amongst swirling shadows. She grew into full adulthood within a few weeks, however, because she was dark and beautiful, Hades himself became enamored of her. He tried to charm her, but she rejected him, so instead, he tried to force his lustful intentions upon her. Thankfully, Maxillion, the god of mystery, showed up and rescued her. Since then, however, she has been a melancholy woman who speaks little, preferring to waste away her life in her condo, drinking Ambrosia to try and forget what has happened to her, or to spend time in her studio dancing or singing to very cryptically beautiful yet sad music. She lives now in Italy, in a condominium that she shares with her twin brother Noctem that has a studio built into the basement level of the building where Nocta dances.

Appearance: A young man of slight built, black hair and deep violet eyes that change according to his mood and the time of the day.

Personality: Noctem can be described as a rather bipolar individual. At first he seems to be a kind, cheerful and sometimes shy individual. He cares deeply for his loved ones. Willing to do anything on his reach to make them happy, to be that light on the end of the tunnel that gives people hope. However, below that calm and tender surface there is an explosive behavior. He can become extremely aggressive if someone talks badly about his dear family, specially his sister, who he cherishes and protects. Since he and Nocta moved to Italy he has became quite a playboy, going to all the fancy and expansive places, attending to operas and concerts. He often tries to drag Nocta along and cheer her up.
Weapons/Equipment: Light and Silver Bayonets.
Powers: Just as his sister can manipulate shadows, Noctem has the ability to control light. He can generate it and control it`s shape at will, being able to channel it into dense streams of power. He can also turn his body into pure energy but that`s a rare occurence, since the heat and energy released are enough to vaporize a normal person in a matter of seconds.
History: Being younger twin of Nocta. Noctem always looked up to her. He wished her to be happy, he wanted no harm to come to her. When he became an young adult, his godly hormones started to kick in and he fell in love with a goddess. She was Makaira, Goddess of the Blessed, a deity who guided the souls of the worthy mortals to Elysium. She too expressed similar feelings towards him, but then a tragedy occurred on their first night together. His sister had being kidnapped by Hades. He felt betrayed, as if he had being stabbed right throught his heart. Despite Makaria`s pleads, Noctem left her. From that day on he decided to always watch over Nocta and protect her from evil. His involvement with Makaria back in the day is a secret he keeps from everyone. He still is in love with her, but cannot force himself to leave his twin`s side.

Strengths: He is very talented in several instruments like Piano, Lyre and Flute. During Twilight his power is at it`s peek.
Greatest Passion(s): He is a lover of arts, he loves to paint, ofen requesting his sister to model for him.
Truest Love/Crush: His first and only love on his entire godly like was Makaira. He still fantasizes about meeting with her again.
